From East Cowes Ferry Terminal (Red Funnel Southampton to East Cowes)
After leaving the ferry terminal at East Cowes, follow signs for Newport via the A3021. Continue through Newport and join the A3056 towards Sandown. Follow the A3056 into Sandown town centre, then turn into Melville Street.
Approximate journey time: 25 minutes.
From Fishbourne Ferry Terminal (Wightlink Portsmouth to Fishbourne)
Exit the ferry terminal and follow signs towards Ryde. Continue on the A3055 through Ryde and follow the coastal route towards Sandown. Upon entering Sandown, follow signs for the town centre and seafront before turning into Melville Street.
Approximate journey time: 20 minutes.
From Yarmouth Ferry Terminal (Wightlink Lymington to Yarmouth)
Leave Yarmouth via the A3054 towards Newport. Continue through Newport and follow the A3056 to Sandown. Once in Sandown, follow signs for the seafront and town centre before turning into Melville Street.
Approximate journey time: 35–40 minutes.
Sandown Railway Station is approximately a 10-minute walk from The Bell Lodge Bed & Breakfast and provides convenient rail connections across the Isle of Wight. Direct services operate between Ryde Pier Head, Ryde Esplanade, Ryde St John's Road, Brading, Sandown, Lake and Shanklin.
Visitors arriving from the mainland can travel by train to Portsmouth Harbour, connect to the Wightlink FastCat service to Ryde Pier Head, and then board the Island Line train directly to Sandown Station.
From Sandown Station, walk south towards the town centre and seafront. Continue along Station Avenue and High Street before turning into Melville Street, where The Bell Lodge Bed & Breakfast can be found just a short distance away.
